I’m Paul Diaz, a photographer, husband, and dad who’s been behind the camera for over 15 years.

I grew up in Chicago, but Raleigh, North Carolina has been home for over 25 years. That mix of fast-paced city roots and Southern living has shaped both who I am and how I see the world through my lens.

Photography has taken me across the country and beyond, with work in Vancouver, California, Las Vegas, Texas, South Carolina, Florida, and Costa Rica. I travel for just about any project I’m hired for because to me, every location, every story, and every client is worth it.

The truth is, I love what I do. I don’t look at this as work because it’s something I genuinely enjoy every single time I pick up my camera. Whether it’s a wedding, a branding shoot, or an event, I’m fully invested in capturing moments that matter.

Event photography, in particular, is one of my favorites. I enjoy being in the mix, interacting with people, reading the room, and capturing not just what my clients expect but the moments they didn’t even realize were happening.

My work has been featured in Toyota Magazine and Forbes, but what matters most to me isn’t where it’s been published, it’s the connection behind every image and the story it tells.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m most likely with my wife and children, exploring new places, or playing soccer with them.
